The West Alabama Shrine Club will sponsor a Masonic Fellowship at J Collier Foster Lodge #906 in Northport, AL on Friday April 13th. The Clara Blackmon OES #167 will host and serve the meal with deserts at 6:00 PM and the Pink Lodge opens at 7:00 PM. We are hoping for a great turn out for a Master Mason to bring their wife, female relative, lady friend, go solo, or bring a fellow Mason if you don't have a date to come out for a night of fun and fellowship.
The Daughters of the Nile of the Zamora Shrine will be traveling over an hour away to Northport to open the a "Pink Lodge"(Comedy). This event is a comedy from the perspective of ladies on what they think their Men are up to when they go to Lodge Meetings. I hear this performance will have you crying with laughter. This comedy is not for children. Tickets are $10 a person and that includes your meal and comedy performance. The proceeds will go to the West Alabama Shrine Club.

A Little bit about the W. AL Shrine Club:
The West Alabama Shrine Club meets under the authority of the Zamora Shriners in Birmingham. We meet on the 3rd Thursdays of the month at Ryan's Restaurant off of Skyline Blvd in Tuscaloosa. We meet to eat around 6:30 pm for fellowship and normally have our business meeting at 7:00 pm. We are a Family Friendly Club and we welcome Master Masons to come eat with us any time. Sometimes our ladies and kids eat with us too. Our club is able to provide a Shriner Presence in West Alabama. The Club allows Shriners to be active if they are not able to frequent the Shrine Center despite the distance we have many if not most of our Club Nobles who are very active at the temple as well from Transporting Kids to the Grenville, SC Hospital, as well as making children smile by Clowning and Directing at the Center at Irondale. We are able to support Zamora by meeting as a Local Club, getting the news of the Shrine, supporting various charities such as our Hospital Children Transpiration Program, support activities for our Hospital Children, as well as other activities that support the operation for the Zamora Shrine Center. Our members are also active Blue Lodge masons that have been past masters, lodge secretaries, Order of the Easter Star Chapter Officers, as well as active York Rite and Scottish Rite Masons. Our Club promotes Alabama Freemasonry as well as the Good Work of the Shrine. Our Club has also held events in West Alabama such as Gospel Singings at the Bama Theater and at ACA. We look forward to seeing you at the Fellowship and Comedy Night at J Collier Foster #906 in Northport, AL.
